Drs. Anthony and Ruth Randi

Dr. Anthony Randi graduated from the Columbia School of Dental Medicine in 1982.  While practicing with his father Dr. Joseph Randi, he returned to Columbia to complete his special training in prosthodontics in 1985. Upon completing the prosthetic postgraduate program Dr. Randi returned to his full time dental practice.  Dr. Randi continues to volunteer his time as an associate clinical professor at Columbia University which he as done for over 30 years.  Dr. Ruth Randi joined her husband and father-in-law in the practice.  Both Drs. Anthony and Ruth greatly enjoyed working with, and learning from their very talented father, Dr. Joseph Randi until his retirement in 1994.

Dr. Anthony Randi maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Nassau County Dental Society, American College of Prosthetics, Academy of Osseointegration, Greater New York Academy of Prosthetics, and the New York academy of Dentistry.  Dr. Randi has published several research papers in peer reviewed dental journals.  He continues to mentor current research projects with his students in the postgraduate prosthetic program at Columbia University.

Dr. Anthony Randi is also very active in his community.  He is the founder and director of the Jay Gallagher Memorial foundation.  This foundation runs a yearly lacrosse tournament that raises money and awareness for several local charities. He also has been very active with the youth group at the Garden City Community church by joining them on numerous mission trips around the country.

Dr. Ruth Randi graduated from the Columbia School of Dental Medicine in 1985.  Upon graduation, Dr. Ruth joined private practice with Drs. Joseph and Anthony Randi.  She also maintained a part-time faculty position at Columbia until the birth of their first child.  Dr. Randi maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, and Nassau County Dental Society.  Dr. Randi sits on the board of Peer Review for Nassau County dental Society.  While raising her children Dr. Randi was a leader for a busy Girl Scout troop, volunteered at the children's school, and taught Sunday school.   She is also a member of the Garden City Community Church where she has served on several boards and continues to usher at the Sunday services.  Along with the rest of her family, Dr. Randi plays an active role in the Jay Gallagher Memorial Foundation.

As members of Giving Through Smiles, a charitable organization, Drs. Anthony and Ruth have traveled to South America on four separate occasions in order to donate their time and expertise to help those who are less fortunate.   In February of 2017 their son William Randi joined them on their forth in dental mission in Chile.   


Drs. Anthony and Ruth Randi have two children.  William is following in his parents’ footsteps by currently attending dental school as a member of the Columbia School of Dental Medicine’s class of 2018.  While Chesney currently lives in Denver where she teaches middle school English. When the Randi family is not in Garden City they are probably enjoying their home in the Adirondack Mountains that they share with their families.
